Metal Braces

Traditional Metal Braces

The most typical type of braces are traditional metal braces, which are more comfortable than it ever has been. Metal braces, which are made of high-quality stainless steel, use metal brackets and archwires to straighten your teeth. Colored elastics (rubber bands) may be added to metal braces for a more distinctive and vibrant smile.

Gold Braces

In many aspects, gold braces are identical to ordinary metal braces. They are constructed of stainless steel but have a gold coating. The gold coating is a more aesthetic alternative than typical metal braces, and the cost of gold braces is surprisingly comparable to the cost of most transparent braces.

Ceramic Braces

Because ceramic braces are constructed of transparent materials, they are less apparent on your tooth surfaces than metal braces. As a result, ceramic braces are mostly utilized on older teens and adult patients who have aesthetic concerns. While ceramic braces are less visible, they do need greater attention to oral hygiene since they are bigger and more fragile than metal braces. For these reasons, ceramic braces are more often placed on upper front teeth than lower teeth.

Invisible (Clear) Orthodontic Appliances
Invisalign®

Invisalign® uses a series of clear, removable, and comfortable aligners that can only move your teeth a little bit. And, no one can tell you’re wearing Invisalign because it isn’t visible at all! They are also removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, as well as brush and floss less. The aligners are easy to wear and don’t have any metal that could hurt your mouth while you’re getting them.
